Meet Ms. Stephanie

At the Dolphin Learning Studio, I blend more than 20 years of international early childhood experience with Reggio Emilia, PYP-inspired inquiry, and play-based learning. As a Montessori-certified educator and mother of four born across Europe, I value the many ways children express themselves and explore the world. My mission is to nurture curiosity, confidence, and joyful learning – honoring each child as a capable, unique learner.

Live Online Sessions

In-Person Sessions

Do parents need to be present during in-person sessions?

Parents are welcome but not required to stay during the session. Some children feel more comfortable when a parent or caregiver is nearby, while others engage beautifully with just the teacher present. You are free to choose the level of involvement that feels right for your child.

What ages do you work with?

In-person sessions are designed for children ages 9 months to 5 years, with activities tailored to each child’s developmental stage and interests.

What does DLS provide for in-person sessions?

I bring all materials needed for each class, including books, manipulatives, sensory invitations, STEM tools, and art supplies—everything aligned with the Reggio Emilia–inspired approach. You don’t need to prepare anything.

Do I need to buy materials for my child?

No, materials for in-person sessions are fully provided. If you ever wish to extend activities at home, I can suggest simple, inexpensive ideas using household items.

How long is each in-person session?

Each session lasts 45 minutes to 1 hour, depending on your child’s age and readiness.

How does scheduling work?

You choose how many times per week you’d like sessions, and together we find the days/times that fit your schedule and my availability.

What do I need to provide?

A calm, safe space in your home where we can learn together comfortably—DLS handles the rest.

Live Online Sessions

Do I need to be present during online sessions?

This depends on your child’s comfort level. Some children enjoy having a parent nearby; others participate independently. I often suggest beginning together and gradually adjusting based on what feels right.

What ages can participate in online sessions?

Online Learning Sessions are for children ages 2.5 to 5 from anywhere in the world.

Do I need to help my child during the session?

You may assist if needed, especially at the beginning. However, many children become comfortable interacting directly with me during live sessions.

What materials do I need for online sessions?

I will send you a simple material list before each class. Most items are inexpensive, easy to find, or already available at home.

How long is each online session?

Each session lasts 45 minutes and is typically one-on-one, allowing for deep, personalized learning.

How do I share observations with you?

After each session, you may send me short observations of your child’s engagement, discoveries, or moments of wonder (optional). I respond to these in true Reggio style and integrate them into future planning.

Absolutely. I’ll walk you through how to join, and it’s very simple once you’ve done it once.
